Lead-Safe Procedures

Are you renovating, repairing, or painting a home, child care facility, or school built before 1978? Federal law requires that only trained, certified contractors perform renovations of such buildings. Any repair or painting activities that disturb more than six square feet of paint in homes, child care facilities, or schools built before 1978 must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination. Protect your family by hiring Lead-Safe Certified contractors. GDS has fulfilled the requirements of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Section 402, and has received certification to conduct lead-based paint renovation, repair, and paint activities pursuant of 40 CFR Part 745.89 in the Jurisdiction of All EPA Administered States, Tribes, and Territories.
